How and when did you find out you have asthma?
I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 10 years old. I had had trouble breathing during physical exertion. The first time it happened I was playing handball and suddenly couldn't breathe. It was as if something was tied around my lungs and I had to struggle to breathe. At the same time, I also got a fur allergy and the same thing happened when I had an allergic reaction. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with asthma.
What setbacks have you had with your asthma?
I have been extremely limited in my training as I find it difficult to breathe when I exert myself. This was especially problematic when I played handball at the elite level growing up. It can also be difficult in my work as a singer and my breathing is disturbed. It's not easy to sing then.
Is there anything you're grateful for that you've learned from this adversity?
I am grateful that I have asthma that I can still live with without major obstacles. I can practice my profession and I can exercise, although it can sometimes require planning and medication.

How does asthma relate to your profession?
It's not easy to sing when you're having trouble breathing, I promise. But with medicines, as a rule, things go well.
When in everyday life is your asthma at its worst?
My asthma is at its worst with physical exertion and of course when I come into contact with fur animals. I find it hard to breathe, get tired and hungry, not fun at all.
When in your everyday life do you feel like you have the best control over your asthma?
To be honest, I haven't had the best control over my asthma over the years. When attacks strike, it's not something I can control, and sometimes it can feel a little hopeless not knowing in advance. That's why I love using Asthmatuner.
Have you noticed any difference in your asthma since you started using AsthmaTuner?
Absolutely. Now I can fix my asthma before the problems arise. I keep a close eye on my lung volume and breathing via the app. Works fantastically well. I also feel pressured that through my healthcare provider I have been told which medication/dosage to take depending on what my lung volume looks like at the moment.
Is there anything you would like to say to others that you think would be inspiring to others living with asthma?
Do not hesitate for a moment to get Asthmatuner. It's worked so well for me and now I feel safe all the time. What's also great is that everything happens digitally. I can be anywhere in the world I want, but still get the help I need. I am very pleased!
